LoCO2 Energy, a relatively new independent energy supplier, aims to supply 80% of the energy it buys from renewable sources.
Founded in 2009, LoCO2 aims to practice what it preaches. Its network of nine hydropower stations means that the company goes beyond supplying electricity but also generates it. But LoCO2 doesn’t just rely on hydropower – it also sources green energy from sources such as solar, wind, biomass, biofuel and anaerobic digestion (AD).
Currently, LoCO2’s fuel mix is split – the majority of its electricity for the period 2013-14 is generated by gas. But the company expects that this year 80% of its energy will come from renewables. Either way the company lives up to its name in that it supplies electricity generated by low carbon forms of energy generation.
If your business electricity contract is due for renewal and you’d like to discuss the options available to you – whether that’s a green supplier or one of the Big Six such as British Gas or E.ON –simply call our friendly team on 0800 411 8830 and they will be happy to advise you on the best options available.
